Monday morning was worrying. The fire alarm went off three times in the morning and most people managed to sleep through it at least once and hear it only twice - classy hostel!
With the train leaving at 1am it was a chance to have a chill-out and do some tourist things like visit the castle and do some shopping. Many a Beccs lady was seen on the Royal Mile going in and out of the tacky souvenir shops - not many admitted to buying things..
At 12ish we all met up in the hostel bar, said a fond farewell to our Aussie friends and headed off for the train. Luckily we had a nice quiet carriage with no screaming kids and the service ran perfectly on time.
It was all too soon time to say farewell to Espa at Doncaster and Vinnie at Peterborough. And after what seemed like hours we arrived at Kings Cross where everyone headed home, mostly voice-less after a great weekend.
So where to next year?
As always some details in the report have been glossed over (some because we can't actually remember!) Some names may have been changed to protect the innocent and please remember that "What goes on Tour stays on Tour.."
