By moving from pub to pub we met many interesting people including some suited people in the street who begged us to have their photos taken.. How about the guys from Nantes Rugby in France - did they ever get tickets to the match? We didn't manage to steal a beret! Their English was infinitely better than our French but we enjoyed trying..
A new action was introduced to tour with the shout of GRENADE! Everyone has to take cover underneath something safe - last one there gets fined! Good fun was had by all. I'm not sure the French guys understood this one and looked slightly alarmed when everyone disappeared under the table ha ha.
In another pub (names escape me) we met up with a bunch of men on a stag weekend. For anyone who was unsure, they were definitely Irish and not Welsh and seemed to enjoy(?) our singing. By now we seemed to have attracted a number of followers or stalkers as we could probably call them. What attracts people to a group of drunken women doing funny coloured shots, 'Captain says' games and other ridiculous acts?
By now it was the early hours of the evening, yep not even 8pm and we were flying around like the fallen angels we are. The first tour virgin fell ill shortly afterwards having made an enthusiastic and energetic start to tour. It was time for Solid to return to base for a well deserved rest!
As everyone else was nicely warmed up ready for an evening in Cardiff it was time to fill up on some good old Welsh food. So we headed off to the one establishment in Cardiff that would take our booking for a traditional Welsh curry! After walking for what seemed like miles to find the curry house we arrived (and found out the next day it's only around the corner...!).
