15th November 2009 - Beccs Ladies lose 7-52 away to Romford Ravens
Beccs Ladies took advantage of their weekend off from the League
to arrange a friendly against Romford Ravens. Although slightly one-sided this was just they type of
game the ladies require to raise their game and improve.
This was a good game with lots of people stepping up to try new things. The defensive line around
the break down and the tackling was excellent, and as the game went on the ladies were able to
started pushing up the field. As the game went on and fatigue hit there were a few missed tackles
and the Ravens were able to exploit Beccs wings.
It was however a useful traning exercise and should put the ladies in good stead for their next league
match against Medway.
