24th February 2008 - Beccs Ladies play a Blackheath Barbarians side at the Rectory Field.
Beccs Ladies took some time out from their National II League matches to play a Blackheath side in a friendly at the Rectory Field in Blackheath this Sunday.
Hoping to build on their great game against Beckenham the week before Beccs were caught napping in the first twenty minutes and allowed Blackheath to run the game at them. Waking up and beginning to play a kicking game for territory worked well for the ladies and brought them back fighting into the game. Despite being unable to put a score past Blackheath the ladies put together some good passages of play which was encouraging especially as they had players out of postition and with three ladies making a comeback after some time out of the game.
